CLEARANCE SONAR MAIN SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (CLEARANCE SONAR MAIN SWITCH)


    1. Remove the combination switch assembly.

      Component without harness connected

      (Combination Switch Assembly (Clearance Sonar Main Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (IG) - 14 (ECU) Clearance sonar main switch on Below 1 Ω
      Clearance sonar main switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch).

    3. Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the combination switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch) and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (clearance sonar main switch).

    4. Install the combination switch assembly.
