Note


  • After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  1. INTELLIGENT CLEARANCE SONAR SYSTEM REGISTRATION


    1. Perform intelligent clearance sonar system registration.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Using the GTS, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.


      Body Electrical > IPA/ICS/Clearance Sonar > Trouble Codes

    2. Clear the DTCs according to the screen on the GTS.


      Body Electrical > IPA/ICS/Clearance Sonar > Clear DTCs

    3. Recheck for DTCs.

      Tech Tips

      If DTC C1AF0 is still output after performing intelligent clearance sonar system registration 3 times, replace the clearance warning ECU assembly.
