TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE

4. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

5. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)

   Click here

7. REMOVE CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY

8. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL

   Click here

9. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

10. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

13. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

17. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

18. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

19. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

20. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

21. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

22. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

23. REMOVE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER WITH BRACKET

    
    

    1. w/ Telematics Transceiver except G-BOOK

       
       

       1. 

          Remove the 2 bolts.

       2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the telematics transceiver with bracket.

       3. Disconnect each connector.

    2. w/ Telematics Transceiver for G-BOOK

       
       

       1. 

          Remove the 2 bolts.

       2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the telematics transceiver with bracket.

       3. Disconnect each connector.

24. REMOVE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

    
    

    1. w/ Telematics Transceiver except G-BOOK

       
       

       1. 

          Remove the 2 nuts and telematics transceiver assembly.

    2. w/ Telematics Transceiver for G-BOOK

       
       

       1. 

          Remove the 2 nuts and telematics transceiver assembly.

25. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY (w/ Telematics Transceiver except G-BOOK)

26. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET (w/ Telematics Transceiver for G-BOOK)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the bolt and No. 1 telephone bracket.

27. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET (w/ Telematics Transceiver for G-BOOK)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the bolt and No. 2 telephone bracket.
