This DTC is stored when the telematics transceiver receives a result "Defect", "High Temperature" or "Low Voltage" or cannot receive any signals during the mayday battery self check.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - MAYDAY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the I40 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the I41 mayday battery connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I40-30 (BBI+) - I41-1 (BBO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      I40-13 (BBI-) - I41-5 (BBO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      I40-20 (CTR1) - I41-3 (BTR1) Always Below 1 Ω
      I40-21 (CTR2) - I41-4 (BTR2) Always Below 1 Ω
      I40-30 (BBI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I40-13 (BBI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I40-20 (CTR1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I40-21 (CTR2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK MAYDAY BATTERY


    1. Replace the mayday battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
