DESCRIPTION

If an open or short circuit in the roof antenna assembly is detected continuously for 1 minute as a result of a terminal check performed by the telematics transceiver every minute after the engine switch is turned on (ACC), these DTCs will be stored.

Note


  • Check for DTC B15DB. When DTC B15DB is output, perform troubleshooting for it first.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for G-BOOK.

  • When replacing the telematics transceiver, make sure to replace it with a new one.

  • When replacing the radio receiver assembly or navigation ECU, always replace it with a new one.

    If a radio receiver assembly or navigation ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:


    • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.

    • The radio receiver assembly or navigation ECU may not operate normally.

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

  2. INSPECT ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

      *a Roof Antenna Assembly

      Remove the roof antenna assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Disconnect the antenna connector from the roof antenna assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
