ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to the new O-ring.

    2. Install the O-ring to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH.

    3. Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the parking brake actuator assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.4 N*m  { 86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY NO.1


    1. Connect the connector to the parking brake wire assembly.

    2. A01XP8ON01

      Install the parking brake wire bracket with the bolt (B).

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

    3. Install the parking brake wire bracket with the 3 bolts (A).

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }
    4. A01XNEB

      Install the parking brake wire bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 4 ft.*lbf }
    5. A01XP4CN01

      Install the parking brake wire assembly with the bolt and nut, and then connect the connector to the parking brake actuator assembly LH.

      Torque:
      Bolt (A)
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
      Nut (B)
      16 N*m  { 163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 12 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR


    1. Connect the clamp and install the No. 12 wirning harness protector with the nut.

      Torque:
      7.7 N*m  { 79 kgf*cm, 68 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
