Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The following procedure is for the LH side.
Note
It the RH side flexible hose and LH side flexible hose are both removed from the vehicle at the same time, place an identification mark on each hose so that it can be reinstalled to its original position.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR WHEEL
DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
Note
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.
REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE LH
Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake tube from the rear flexible hose LH while holding the rear flexible hose LH with a wrench.
Note
Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting point.
Remove the clip.
Remove the union bolt and gasket, and then remove the rear flexible hose LH from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH.
