DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via the CAN communication system.
The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) and the CAN communication system, the DTC U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) is output.
The DTCs are also output when the calibration has not been completed.

Tech Tips
When U0124 and/or U0126 is output along with C1210 and/or C1336, inspect and repair trouble areas indicated by U0124 and/or U0126 first.
Note
When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information.
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information.

PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK)
Turn the engine switch off.
Using the GTS, perform a Test Mode (signal check) inspection sensor check and check that all Test Mode (signal check) inspection items change from incomplete to complete.

Turn the engine switch off.
Check that the airbag ECU assembly has been installed properly.

READ VALUE USING GTS (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.
According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.
