DESCRIPTION

The switch circuit inside the combination meter assembly turns on and off according to the steering pad switch assembly operation.

During test mode, when the steering pad switch assembly is operated, "TPMS" is selected on the multi-information display and the "ENTER" switch (steering pad switch assembly) is pressed, the tire pressure warning light illuminates, and when the "ENTER" switch (steering pad switch assembly) is not pressed, the tire pressure warning light blinks at 0.125 second intervals.

  • When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the GTS and write them down before removal.

  1. INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the steering pad switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly.

    2. Inspect the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the I4 spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the I10 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the P11*1 or Q46*2 tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.


      • *1: except AGZ10R-AWTLTQ or AGZ15R-AWTLTQ Deck Floor Box LH without Compact Spare Tire Caution Label

      • *2: for AGZ10R-AWTLTQ or AGZ15R-AWTLTQ Deck Floor Box LH without Compact Spare Tire Caution Label

    2. Disconnect the I10 and I11 combination meter assembly connectors.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
