FRONT BUMPER(except Sport Package) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System)

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

      Remove the 10 clips and radiator support opening cover.

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

      Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE

  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH

      Remove the 5 screws and front fender front splash shield LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      Remove the 6 screws.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

      Remove the 2 clips.

    4. A01HI6C

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    5. A01HE0E

      Remove the 2 clips.

    6. Detach the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

    7. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Disconnect the headlight washer hose, and then drain the washer fluid.

        Tech Tips

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    8. w/ Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

    9. Disconnect the 2 clearance connectors.

    10. Disconnect the No. 3 engine room wire connector.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER ABSORBER


    1. A01HGSX

      Remove the 4 screws and front bumper lower absorber.

  13. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR GUIDE PLATE


    1. A01HG6T

      Detach the 2 clips and remove the lower radiator air guide plate.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HH3X

      Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01HJNPN01

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip.

    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
