REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. B0057RN

      Attach the 2 claws to install the rear bumper side support LH.

    2. Attach the clip.

    3. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      Install the rear bumper side seal LH with 2 new grommets.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 REINFORCEMENT


    1. B0057MD

      Install the rear bumper No. 1 reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Attach the 16 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    2. w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Hands Free Power Back Door, w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the 2 screws labeled A.

    4. Install the 4 screws labeled B.

    5. Remove the protective tape.

      Install the 2 clips.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure to remove the clip on the other side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 PLATE

      Attach the 2 claws to install the rear bumper No. 1 plate.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all rear bumper No. 1 plates.

  8. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER


    1. B0058KR

      Install the rear floor side member cover with the 8 clips.

  9. INSTALL NO. 5 MOULDING TAPE

  10. INSTALL REAR LOWER QUARTER MOULDING PROTECTOR LH

  11. INSTALL QUARTER OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  13. INSPECT KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR
