REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the clip and pin to install the rear light assembly LH.

    2. Install the bolt and 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      for Bolt
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
      for Nut
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

  13. INSPECT REAR LIGHT


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the headlight dimmer switch to the tail or head position and check that the taillight illuminates.

    3. Move the shift lever to R and check that the back-up light illuminates.

    4. w/ Rear Fog Light:

      Turn the headlight dimmer switch to the tail or head position and rear fog light switch on and check that the rear fog light illuminates.
