HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHT BULB(for Halogen Headlight and LED Headlight) REPLACEMENT

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for LH Side)


    1. B0059IWC01
      *1 Matchmark
      *2 Unlock Position Mark
      B0057RX Counterclockwise

      Turn the headlight bulb cover counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to remove the headlight bulb cover.

    2. B0057KWC01
      B0057RX Counterclockwise

      Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb counterclockwise and remove it.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with bare hands.

    3. B00585T

      Disconnect the connector.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with bare hands.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for RH Side)


    1. B0057T6

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the washer inlet.

    2. B00598UC01
      *1 Matchmark
      *2 Unlock Position Mark
      B0057RX Counterclockwise

      Turn the headlight bulb cover counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to remove the headlight bulb cover.

    3. B005B17C01
      B0057RX Counterclockwise

      Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb counterclockwise and remove it.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with bare hands.

    4. B00585T

      Disconnect the connector.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with bare hands.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for LH Side)


    1. Connect the connector.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with bare hands.

    2. B0059AAC01
      B0057RX Clockwise

      Set and turn the No. 1 headlight bulb clockwise to install it.

      *1 Matchmark
      *2 Unlock Position Mark
      *3 Lock Position Mark
      B0057RX Clockwise

      Align the matchmark of the headlight bulb cover to the unlock position mark, and then rotate the headlight bulb cover clockwise until the lock position mark to install the headlight bulb cover.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for RH Side)


    1. Connect the connector.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with bare hands.

    2. B0057V8C01
      B0057RX Clockwise

      Set and turn the No. 1 headlight bulb clockwise to install it.

      *1 Matchmark
      *2 Unlock Position Mark
      *3 Lock Position Mark
      B0057RX Clockwise

      Align the matchmark of the headlight bulb cover to the unlock position mark, and then rotate the headlight bulb cover clockwise until the lock position mark to install the headlight bulb cover.

    4. Connect the washer inlet with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  5. INSPECT HEADLIGHT
