LIGHTING SYSTEM High Beam Headlight Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The illumination of the high beam headlights is controlled by the headlight leveling ECU assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (HEADLIGHT HI RELAY)


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT RH


    1. A01HJOVE04

      Remove the headlight unit RH.

      Click here

    2. Remove the headlight unit RH from the headlight unit assembly RH.

      Click here

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - B-10 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-2 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT LH

      Remove the headlight unit LH.

    2. Remove the headlight unit LH from the headlight unit assembly LH.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      A-1 - B-10 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-2 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω
