DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the sensor value acquired from the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH is out of range during initialization of the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH. For example, when the vehicle is tilted or jacked up.

PROCEDURE


  1. INITIALIZATION HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Perform initialization of the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      1. for Triple Beam Headlight:


        Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs
      2. for Single Beam Headlight:


        Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for at least 10 seconds.

    3. Check for DTCs.

        Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes
      2. for Single Beam Headlight:


        Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes

        DTC B2452 is not output.

  4. INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH)


    1. Disconnect the A19 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the R1 rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A19-16 (SBR) - R1-3 (SHB) Always Below 1 Ω
      A19-17 (SHRL) - R1-2 (SHRR) Always Below 1 Ω
      A19-15 (SGR) - R1-1 (SHG) Always Below 1 Ω
      A19-16 (SBR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A19-17 (SHRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
