WIPER ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (for LHD)

  6. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the windshield wiper relay assembly.

  7. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

  8. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)

  9. REMOVE CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  10. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL (for RHD)

  11. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for RHD)

  12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
