DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the low beam fan is malfunctioning and the low beam illumination is dark.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result
      Proceed to
      NEXT

    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn on the headlights using the headlight dimmer switch.

    3. Check for DTCs.

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01XOWSE02

      Remove the headlight unit LH.

      Click here

    2. Remove the headlight fan LH from the headlight unit LH.

      Click here

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - B-14 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-2 - B-15 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3 - B-6 Always Below 1 Ω
      Result

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT UNIT LH Click here

  4. REPLACE HEADLIGHT FAN LH


    1. Temporarily replace the headlight fan LH with a new or normally functioning one.

      Remove the headlight unit RH.

    2. Remove the headlight fan RH from the headlight unit RH.

      Click here

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - B-14 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-2 - B-15 Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3 - B-6 Always Below 1 Ω
