FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the forward recognition camera.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

As the forward recognition camera is supplied power from the engine stop and start ECU, make sure that the stop and start system is not malfunctioning before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE VOLTAGE)

      (to Forward Recognition Camera)

      Disconnect the T17 forward recognition camera connector.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      w/ Stop and Start System
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T17-7 (IGB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 10.5 to 16 V
      w/o Stop and Start System
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T17-7 (IGB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    4. Turn the engine switch off.

    5. Connect the T17 forward recognition camera connector.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA - BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the T17 forward recognition camera connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T17-10 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Connect the T17 forward recognition camera connector
