PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

      *a Protrusion

      Align the protrusion of a new gasket with the cutout in the timing chain cover sub-assembly and install the gasket in the groove of the timing chain cover sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Be sure to clean the contact surfaces.

    2. B00595RN01

      Install the engine water pump assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      Bolt (A)
      25.5 N*m  { 260 kgf*cm, 19 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt (B)
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt Length
      Item Length
      Bolt (A) 35 mm (1.38 in.)
      Bolt (B) 25 mm (0.984 in.)

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
