RADIATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FAN SHROUD CUSHION


    1. Install the 4 fan shroud cushions to the intercooler cooling radiator assembly.

  2. INSTALL INTERCOOLER COOLING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

      *1 Intercooler Cooling Radiator Assembly
      *2 Condenser Assembly

      Move the condenser assembly LH toward the front of the vehicle and set the intercooler cooling radiator assembly on the vehicle.

      Note


      • Do not apply any excessive force to the condenser assembly and cooler pipe.

      • Do not move the condenser assembly toward the front of the vehicle more than necessary.

      *1 Intercooler Cooling Radiator Assembly
      *2 Condenser Assembly

      Move the condenser assembly upward to attach the 2 connections between the intercooler cooling radiator assembly and condenser assembly and install the intercooler cooling radiator assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not apply any excessive force to the condenser assembly and cooler pipe.

    3. Attach the 2 clamps.

  3. CONNECT NO. 3 SUB-RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 3 sub-radiator hose to the intercooler cooling radiator assembly, and slide the clip to secure the hose.

  4. CONNECT NO. 2 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT LH

  7. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN SHROUD

  9. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  10. CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE

    Click here

  11. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  12. CONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  13. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

  14. INSTALL FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE LH

  15. CONNECT FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE RH

  16. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  25. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  26. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  27. ADD COOLANT (for Intercooler)
