WASTE GATE VALVE ACTUATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL WASTE GATE VALVE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET ASSEMBLY

   Note

   After removal and installation of the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly, make sure to check the waste gate valve actuator lift amount.

   
   

   1. Install the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If 2 adjustment washers are installed between the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly and turbine with valve housing sub-assembly, install the washers to the same positions.

   2. Install a new E-washer to the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly link pin.

      Note

      Do not reuse the E-washer.

2. INSPECT WASTE GATE VALVE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

4. INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

5. INSTALL COMPRESSOR OUTLET ELBOW

6. INSTALL NO. 5 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

7. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

   Click here

8. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

9. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
