WASTE GATE VALVE ACTUATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

  3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 5 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    Click here

  6. REMOVE COMPRESSOR OUTLET ELBOW

    Click here

  7. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

    Click here

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    Click here

  9. REMOVE WASTE GATE VALVE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET ASSEMBLY

    Note

    After removal and installation of the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly, make sure to check the waste gate valve actuator lift amount.

      Remove the E-washer from the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly link pin.

      Note

      Do not reuse the E-washer.

    2. A01XOBN

      Remove the 2 bolts and waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly.

      Note

      Replace with a new part if the part is dropped or subjected to a strong impact.

      Tech Tips

      2 adjustment washers may be installed between the waste gate valve actuator with bracket assembly and turbine with valve housing sub-assembly.
