PCV VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL PCV VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the PCV valve sub-assembly.

      Adhesive
      Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324 or equivalent

   2. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, install the PCV valve sub-assembly.

      Torque:

      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

2. CONNECT NO. 2 PCV HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 2 PCV hose to the PCV valve sub-assembly, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.
