CANISTER(w/ Canister Pump Module) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 4 bolts and clip.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01HG8BC01
      *1 Fuel Tank To Canister Tube Sub-assembly (Vent Line Tube)
      *2 Fuel Vent Hose Sub-assembly (Air Inlet Line Hose)
      *3 Purge Line Hose
      *a Retainer
      *b Push

      Connect the fuel tank to canister tube sub-assembly (vent line tube) to the charcoal canister assembly.


      1. Push the fuel tank to canister tube sub-assembly (vent line tube) into the port and push the retainer to lock it.

        Note


        • Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.

        • After connecting the tube, check that the fuel tank to canister tube sub-assembly (vent line tube) and valve are securely connected by pulling on them.

    3. Connect the fuel vent hose sub-assembly (air inlet line hose) to the charcoal canister assembly.


      1. Push the fuel vent hose sub-assembly (air inlet line hose) into the vent line port and push the retainer to lock it.

        Note


        • Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.

        • After connecting the fuel vent hose sub-assembly (air inlet line hose), check that the fuel vent hose sub-assembly (air inlet line hose) and valve are securely connected by pulling on them.

    4. Connect the purge line hose, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.
