FUEL PUMP(w/o Canister Pump Module) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

   Tech Tips

   Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the fuel pump.

   Click here

   
   

   1. Install the fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

   2. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring to the fuel pump.

   3. 

      Install the fuel pump to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

   4. Connect the connector to the fuel pump.

   5. Attach the 3 claws and install the fuel pump filter to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

2. INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Apply gasoline to 2 new O-rings. Then install the 2 O-rings to the fuel main valve assembly.

   2. Install the fuel main valve assembly to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

   3. Install the fuel suction support to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK

   
   

   1. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring to the jet pump.

   2. Install the spring to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

   3. Attach the 3 claws and connect the jet pump nozzle to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

   4. Attach the 3 claws.

   5. Install the setting holder to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Slightly lower the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to install the setting holder.

   6. Connect the 2 connectors to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.
