INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Tech Tips
When reusing the fan and generator V belt, check the entire belt for wear and cracks on the ribs and back of the belt. Replace any belts with wear or cracks that have reached the core (at 1 point or more) and belts with missing rubber ribs (at 1 point or more).

Set the fan and generator V belt onto each pulley as shown in the illustration.
Note
Make sure the back of the fan and generator V belt is set to the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly and engine water pump assembly.
Using a tool, turn the pulley set bolt of the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise, and then remove the 5 mm hexagon wrench.
Check that the fan and generator V belt is set correctly to each pulley.
Start the engine and check that the fan and generator V belt rotates smoothly and quietly.
INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
Install the rear engine under cover RH with the 4 clips.
