ENGINE STOP AND START ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START ECU (for RHD)


    1. Install the engine stop and start ECU with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 3 connectors to the engine stop and start ECU.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START ECU (for LHD)

    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the engine stop and start ECU to the ECU integration box RH.

  3. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (for LHD)


    1. Install the ECU integration box RH with the 2 nuts and bolt.

      Torque:
      for Nut
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
      for Bolt
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connectors and 3 clamps.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
