PROCEDURE

   INSTALL PCV VALVE (VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

      Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly).

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

   2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) to the ventilation case sub-assembly.

      27 N*m

      275 kgf*cm

      20 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

   3. Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose to the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) and slide the clip to secure it.
