ACTIVE REAR WING REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FM8M

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the No. 2 rear spoiler motor assembly with the 3 screws.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
    2. A01FO22

      Engage the 2 claws to install the cover.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FO8AN01

      Engage the 2 guides as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the No. 1 rear spoiler motor assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      6.7 N*m  { 68 kgf*cm, 59 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FNTH

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the top cover lock control link sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      6.7 N*m  { 68 kgf*cm, 59 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL CONNECTOR WIRE


    1. A01FLIT

      Connect the connector to install the connector wire.

  6. INSTALL REAR SPOILER


    1. Clean the rear spoiler insert.


      1. Remove any double-sided tape from the rear spoiler insert.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new rear spoiler.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Engage the 5 clips to install the rear spoiler.

  7. INSTALL REAR SPOILER COVER LH

      Engage the 3 claws to install the rear spoiler cover LH as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL REAR SPOILER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FKW5

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear spoiler sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.1 N*m  { 52 kgf*cm, 45 in.*lbf }
