ACTIVE REAR WING DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FKW5

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and rear spoiler sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER LH


    1. A01FMNB

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear spoiler cover LH as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER


    1. Disengage the 5 clips and remove the rear spoiler.

  5. REMOVE CONNECTOR WIRE


    1. A01FLIT

      Disconnect the connector to remove the connector wire.

  6. REMOVE TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01FNTH

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the top cover lock control link sub-assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE TOP COVER LOCK CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FMYHC01

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration to remove the No. 1 rear spoiler motor assembly.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FO22

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the cover.

    2. A01FM8M

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws and No. 2 rear spoiler motor assembly.
