FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Click here

2. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. Click here

   REMOVE WASHER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the 5 clamps to remove the washer hose.

6. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

7. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

8. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE

   
   
   1. 

      *A	w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System
      *B	w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System

      Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

9. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/o Telematics Transceiver)

   
   

   1. for Type A:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove the 2 screws.

      2. 

         Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

   2. for Type B:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove the 2 screws.

      2. 

         Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Telematics Transceiver)

       Remove the 2 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

11. Click here

    REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

12. Click here

    REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the claw to remove the front fender liner retainer.

       Tip:

       Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 7 claws to remove the No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

15. Click here

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER SIDE SUPPORT LH

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper lower side support LH.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front bumper hole cover.

19. Click here

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 12 clips and remove the radiator grille protector.

20. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the screw.

    2. 

       Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front bumper bar reinforcement LH.

21. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the claw and guide to remove the symbol emblem.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the symbol emblem.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 11 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the radiator grille assembly.

25. Click here

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 4 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 12 claws to remove the radiator grille moulding.

26. Click here

    REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the clip and lower radiator grille bracket.

    REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 7 claws to remove the lower radiator grille moulding.

28. Click here

    REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 6 screws and lower radiator grille.

29. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    
    

    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

    REMOVE FRONT ENERGY ABSORBER MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT LH

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front energy absorber mounting reinforcement LH.

31. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT ENERGY ABSORBER MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the bolt.

    2. 

       Using a screwdriver, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. 

       Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
