DESCRIPTION

A DTC is stored when a malfunction of the headlight fan occurs and the low beam headlight is dim. The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B243D and B243E.

If the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Operate the light control switch to turn on the low beam headlights and wait 2 minutes.

    3. Check for DTCs.

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT HOUSING ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the headlight assembly LH.

      Click here

    2. Remove the headlight housing assembly LH from the headlight assembly LH.

      Click here

    3. Disconnect the headlight fan LH connector.

      Click here

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the headlight assembly RH.

    2. Remove the headlight housing assembly RH from the headlight assembly RH.

    3. Disconnect the headlight fan RH connector.

      Click here

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
