DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a communication malfunction occurs between the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH and headlight control ECU sub-assembly RH. The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2443.

If the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      1. Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs

  2. Click here

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here


      1. Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes


      OK
      DTC B2443 is not output.

  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the A3 Headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the A11 Headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A3-20 (LINL) - A11-20 (LINL) Always Below 1 Ω
      A3-20 (LINL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
