WIPER SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. CHANGE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM SETTINGS

  2. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER

      Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and remove the screw.

    2. B00689F

      Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and remove the screw.

    3. B00669B

      Remove the screw.

      *a Push

      Push the left side of the steering column cover (lower) to disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

      *a Push

      Push the right side of the steering column cover (lower) to disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    7. B0066FI

      Remove the steering column cover (lower) as shown in the illustration.

    8. B00652V

      Disengage the 2 claws and 4 clips to separate the steering column cover (upper) from the instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

    9. B0067TQ

      Disengage the claw to remove the steering column cover (upper).

  3. REMOVE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH (for LH Side)

  4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect 2 connectors.

    2. B0067K0

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      If the claw is pulled with excessive force, it may break.
