FRONT WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws to remove the front wiper arm head cap.

      Tip:

      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


      • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the nut and front wiper arm and blade assembly LH.

  3. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the nut and front wiper arm and blade assembly RH.

  4. Click here

    REMOVE COWL TOP SILENCER PAD LH

      Remove the 2 clips and cowl top silencer pad LH.

  5. Click here

    REMOVE COWL TOP SILENCER PAD RH

      Remove the clip and cowl top silencer pad RH.

  6. Click here

    REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 claws to separate the windshield outside moulding LH.

    2. A01FKL2

      Disengage the 2 claws to separate the windshield outside moulding RH.

    3. A01FOAW

      Remove the 2 clips.

    4. A01FKUP

      Disengage the 8 guides as shown in the illustration.

    5. A01FOB1

      Disengage the 9 guides and remove the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Windshield Deicer System:


      1. A01FOD2

        Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01FMHG

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A01FOQJC01
      *a Motor Grommet

      Remove the 3 bolts.

    4. Disengage the motor grommet as shown in the illustration and remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the windshield when removing the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

    REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FKSPC01
      *1 No. 1 windshield wiper link
      *a Protective Tape
      *b Pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly

      Using a screwdriver, separate the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod from the pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and windshield wiper motor assembly from the windshield wiper link assembly.
