PROCEDURE

   INSPECT FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Door Outside Handle Assembly LH)

      Apply 6.0 V (4 dry cell batteries in series) to the front door outside handle assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

      Note:

      Do not apply more than 6.0 V.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1 (OLP) Battery negative (-) → 3 (GND) Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front door outside handle assembly LH.

   INSPECT FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY RH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Door Outside Handle Assembly RH)

      Apply 6.0 V (4 dry cell batteries in series) to the front door outside handle assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

      Note:

      Do not apply more than 6.0 V.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1 (OLP) Battery negative (-) → 3 (GND) Illuminates
