  1. DATA LIST

    Note:

    In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.

    Tip:

    Using the GTS to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

        Lock: Luggage compartment door lock assembly locked

        Unlock: Luggage compartment door lock assembly unlocked

        OFF: Luggage compartment door lock key cylinder in neutral position

        ON: Luggage compartment door lock key cylinder in unlock position

        Trunk/BDoor Open SW Luggage door opening switch signal OFF or ON

        OFF: Luggage door opening switch off

        ON: Luggage door opening switch on

        		 -
        Trunk Main SW Luggage door opening cancel switch signal OFF or ON

        OFF: Luggage door opening cancel switch off

        ON: Luggage door opening cancel switch on

        Luggage Courtesy SW Luggage compartment door lock courtesy light switch signal OFF or ON

        Tr/B-Door Unlock SW Luggage electrical key switch OFF or ON

        OFF: Luggage electrical key switch not pressed

        ON: Luggage electrical key switch pressed

        		 When this item is abnormal, there is a malfunction in the luggage electrical key switch or related parts.


  2. ACTIVE TEST

    Tip:

    Using the GTS to perform the Active Tests allows relays, VSVs and actuators and other items to be operated without removing any parts. This non-intrusive functional inspection can be very useful because intermittent operation may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Performing Active Tests early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time. Data List information can be displayed while performing Active Tests.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
