HOOD DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


    1. A01FO2P

      Using a clip remover, disengage the 9 hood to radiator support seal clips to remove the hood to radiator support seal.

    2. Remove the 9 hood to radiator support seal clips from the hood to radiator support seal.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 HOOD INSULATOR


    1. A01FKH9

      Remove the 6 clips and No. 2 hood insulator.

  3. REMOVE HOOD BULGE PLATE ASSEMBLY (except Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Hood)


    1. A01FNOL

      Remove the 4 nuts.

    2. Disengage the 3 clips and remove the hood bulge plate assembly.

  4. REMOVE HOOD BULGE PLATE ASSEMBLY (for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Hood)


    1. A01FLN0

      Remove the 6 nuts and hood bulge plate assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 HOOD BULGE PROTECTOR (for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Hood)


    1. A01FOPD

      Remove the No. 1 hood bulge protector.

  6. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR


    1. A01FN3X

      Using a clip remover, remove the 9 hood insulator clips and hood insulator.

  7. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. DISCONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FOMX

      Disengage the 5 clamps to disconnect the washer hose assembly.

  9. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY LH

  10. REMOVE HOOD STAY BRACKET LH

    Click here

  11. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
