BLOWER UNIT REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   INSTALL NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

   2. 

      *a	Reference Point

      Using the reference points, engage the 3 claws to install the plate.

   3. 

      Engage the 4 claws to install the upper blower case.

   4. Install the 3 screws.

2. Click here

   INSTALL HEATER PROTECTOR

   
   
   1. 

      Install the heater protector.

3. Click here

   INSTALL HEATER CASE PACKING

   
   

   1. Remove any remaining heater case packing from the blower assembly.

   2. Remove the release paper from a new heater case packing.

   3. 

      Install the heater case packing.

4. Click here

   INSTALL DRAIN COOLER HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      *A	for LHD
      *B	for RHD
      *a	Hose Notch
      *b	Blower Case Assembly Rib

      Align the hose notch with the blower case assembly rib as shown in the illustration and install the drain cooler hose.

5. Click here

   INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. When reusing the blower motor with fan sub-assembly:

      
      

      1. Install a new heater packing to the blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

         Tip:

         For details, refer to the instruction manual provided with the part.

   2. 

      Install the blower motor with fan sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

      Note:

      Do not install the blower motor with fan sub-assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.

6. Click here

   INSTALL AIR REFINER ELEMENT

   
   
   1. 

      Engage the 4 guides to install the air refiner element to the cover plate as shown in the illustration.

   2. 

      Engage the 2 claws to install the air filter sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

7. Click here

   INSTALL WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

   
   
   1. 

      Engage the 2 guides.

   2. Install the wiring harness clamp bracket with the 2 screws.
