OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

   REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

   DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

   REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

   REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

5. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

   REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER)

   Tip:

   The occupant detection sensor cannot be removed from the front seat cushion pad with cover as they are a unit.

   
   
   1. 

      Fastener

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

   2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      
      
      1. 

         Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      3. 

         Disengage the 3 clamps.

      4. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

   3. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   4. 

      Disengage the claw to separate the connector.

   5. 

      Remove the clip.

   6. 

      Disengage the hook.

   7. 

      Disengage the 9 hooks and remove the occupant detection sensor (front seat cushion pad with cover).
