LIMIT SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT INNER LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Inner Limit Switch Assembly (Front Seatback Edge Protector))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Inner limit switch pressed Below 1 Ω Inner limit switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the inner limit switch assembly (front seatback edge protector).

   INSPECT OUTER LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR)

      *a	Component without harness connected (Outer Limit Switch Assembly (Front Seatback Edge Protector))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Outer limit switch pressed Below 1 Ω Outer limit switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the outer limit switch assembly (front seatback edge protector).
