REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER


    1. A01FOGP

      Engage the guide to install the No. 2 child restraint seat cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other 3 No. 2 child restraint seat covers.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH to the separate type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

    3. Engage the 2 hooks.

    4. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH to the separate type rear seat cushion pad with 20 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover RH.

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER


    1. Engage the 3 hooks.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seat cushion under cover with 4 new hog rings.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the rear seat console box assembly.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER


    1. A01FKGX

      Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 1 child restraint seat cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other 3 No. 1 child restraint seat covers.

  7. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

    • When installing the seat cover, refer to the precautions in order to prevent wrinklesfrom forming.

    • Align the seam allowance in a single direction as shown in the illustration.

    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 28 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seatback cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad with 43 new hog rings.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY

      Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the 2 nuts.

    2. A01FKOB

      Engage the hook.
