FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

      Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect each rubber band of the front seatback pad with cover.

  4. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. A01FMPM

      Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield from the clip as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01FMQX

      Disengage the claw.

    5. A01FLYSC01
      B00679M Slide

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    6. A01FLM7

      Disengage the 3 guides to remove the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield.

    7. A01FNNB

      Remove the clip.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A01FKYR

      Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

    2. A01FKYT

      Disengage the 2 guides and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

    3. A01FNCS

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    4. A01FMUA

      Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover.

    5. A01FO42

      Disconnect the 2 connectors from the position control ECU and switch assembly.

    6. for Driver Side:


      1. A01FM2X

        Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. A01FO7U

      Disengage the 2 claws and 3 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01FMMU

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  10. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  11. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Driver Side)

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01FLCV

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the clamp.

      A01FNVU Fastener

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    5. A01FNP2

      Disengage the claw and 3 clamps.

      Tech Tips

      Disengage the 3 clamps first.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01FLPC

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    7. A01FOV1

      Remove the clip.

    8. A01FMCW

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL CAP


    1. A01FO0T

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the reclining remote control cap.

  15. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FOWC

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01FKG2

      Disengage the 2 guides to separate the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

    3. A01FKEY

      Disconnect the reclining adjuster equalizing cable assembly to remove the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE


    1. A01FOVP

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 front seat shoulder belt guide.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the No. 1 front seat shoulder belt guide.

  18. REMOVE NO. 3 FRONT SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE

      Remove the No. 3 front seat shoulder belt guide.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      Pull out the 2 fasteners.

      Pull out the 2 tabs.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    5. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01FL3F

        Disengage the 2 claws to separate the seatback climate control blower from the front seatback pad with cover.

    6. A01FNTKC01
      *a Bracket

      Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 2 brackets.

    7. Remove the front seatback pad with cover.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  21. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the clip.

      Disengage the 4 hooks to remove the seatback climate control blower.

  22. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  23. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  24. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the claw to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  25. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the limit switch assembly.

  27. REMOVE LIMIT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the limit switch assembly.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Disengage each claw to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  29. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the clamp.

    2. A01FOSB

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Driver Side)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  32. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  33. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER EQUALIZING CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FLODN01

      Remove the clamp (B) and disengage the clamp (A).

    2. A01FLRM

      Disconnect the reclining adjuster equalizing cable assembly to remove it.

  34. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

  35. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01FN27

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01FORV

        Disengage the claw to separate the connector.

    3. A01FM7L

      Disengage the hook.

    4. A01FMQE

      Disengage the 9 hooks and remove the front seat cushion pad with cover.

  36. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)


    1. A01FMFL

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat cushion climate control duct from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  37. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)


    1. A01FKF8

      Remove the 2 screws and seat cushion climate control bracket from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  38. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)


    1. A01FKHB

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01FKQ2

      Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  39. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the clip (A).

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip (B) to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  40. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  41. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  42. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  43. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01FOZF

        Disengage the clamp.

    2. A01FMSN

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  44. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  45. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
