    In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.

    Tip:

    Using the GTS to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.

    DATA LIST


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Central Gateway / Data List.


      1. Body Electrical > Central Gateway > Data List
        Tester Display
        IG2 SW
        IG1 SW
        ACC SW
        +B Voltage
        Number of DTC








    5. According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.


      1. Body Electrical > Central Gateway > Data List
        Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition
        IG2 SW Engine switch on (IG) signal (IG2 terminal) OFF or ON

        OFF: Engine switch on (ACC) or off

        ON: Engine switch on (IG)

        IG1 SW Engine switch on (IG) signal (IG1 terminal) OFF or ON

        OFF: Engine switch on (ACC) or off

        ON: Engine switch on (IG)

        ACC SW Engine switch on (ACC) signal (ACC terminal) OFF or ON

        OFF: Engine switch off

        ON: Engine switch on (ACC) or on (IG)

        +B Voltage Battery voltage (BATT terminal) Over 8 V or Under 8 V

        Over 8 V: Battery voltage 8 V or higher

        Under 8 V: Battery voltage below 8 V

        Number of DTC Number of DTCs 0 to 255 0: Normal
