DESCRIPTION

When the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) is turned on, a signal is sent to the blind spot monitor sensor LH and the blind spot monitor indicator on the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) illuminates.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Blind Spot Monitor Master / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.


      1. Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Master > Data List
        Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
        Main Switch State of the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) OFF or ON

        OFF: Blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) off

    1. Disconnect the U48 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      U48-8 (BSSW) - O99-11 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      U48-8 (BSSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
