DESCRIPTION

The back sonar or clearance sonar switch assembly is installed at the base of the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

When the back sonar or clearance sonar switch assembly is turned on, an on signal is sent to the clearance warning ECU assembly. The LEXUS parking assist-sensor system operates according to this signal.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Clearance Sonar / Data List.

    5. According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.


      1. Body Electrical > Clearance Sonar > Data List

        Normal: Clearance warning ECU assembly normal
