DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the combination meter assembly detects a fuel sender gauge assembly and No. 2 fuel sender gauge assembly malfunction via a direct line.

  • Average input signal of fuel sender gauge assembly is 550 Ω or more 3 times consecutively

  • Combination meter assembly

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    READ VALUE USING GTS (FUEL INPUT)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

        Fuel receiver gauge indicates F: 64.1 L

      Disconnect the O3 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY, FUEL TANK VENT TUBE ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U25 fuel suction tube with pump and gauge assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T18 fuel tank vent tube assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O3-27 (FR) - U25-2 (FS) Always Below 1 Ω
      O3-28 (FE) - T18-3 (FR) Always Below 1 Ω
      U25-3 (FE) - T18-2 (S) Always Below 1 Ω
      O3-27 (FR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O3-28 (FE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U25-3 (FE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
