INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Measure the battery voltage.

| 11 to 14 V |
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
Use the GTS, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

CHECK FOR DTC*
Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
Clear the DTCs.
Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the ASC system DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
