PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK BRAKE WARNING LIGHT


    1. Check that the brake warning light comes on when the parking brake is applied and goes off when it is released.

      OK
      The brake warning light operates as specified above.
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

  2. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY - RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the O147 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the A47 parking brake switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O147-20 (PKB) - A47-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      O147-20 (PKB) or A47-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Result
      Proceed to

      NG
