PARKING BRAKE PEDAL(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

   INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Install the parking brake control pedal assembly to the body with the bolt and 2 nuts.

      12.7 N*m

      130 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Tighten the bolt and 2 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

   2. Connect the parking brake switch connector.

   3. Install the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly with the 2 bolts.

      8.0 N*m

      82 kgf*cm

      71 in.*lbf

   4. Install the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the body with the 2 nuts.

      6.0 N*m

      61 kgf*cm

      53 in.*lbf

2. Click here

   INSTALL PARKING BRAKE EQUALIZER

   
   
   1. 

      Install the parking brake equalizer as shown in the illustration.

   2. 

      *a

      Groove

      Slide the rubber boot back as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Securely fit the protrusion on the rubber boot into the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly groove.

   3. Connect the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake equalizer.

   4. Install the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the 2 nuts.

      6.0 N*m

      61 kgf*cm

      53 in.*lbf

3. Click here

   INSTALL PARKING BRAKE RETURN WITH DAMPER SPRING

   
   

   1. Using needle-nose pliers, install the parking brake return with damper spring.

   INSPECT PARKING BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL

   Click here

5. Click here

   ADJUST PARKING BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL

   Click here

6. Click here

   INSTALL FRONT FLOOR REAR UPPER SUB PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Engage the clamp and install the front floor rear upper sub panel sub-assembly.

   2. 

      Install the 4 bolts.

      17.5 N*m

      178 kgf*cm

      13 ft.*lbf

   3. Engage the 2 guides to the front floor carpet assembly.

   4. 

      Engage the 6 clamps.

7. Click here

   INSTALL AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for LHD.

   INSTALL NO. 2 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 clips to install the No. 2 dash panel insulator pad.

9. Click here

   INSTALL REAR NO. 3 AIR DUCT

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for LHD.

    INSTALL FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for LHD.

    INSTALL REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT

    INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

    Tip:
